Well done, Andy! Knew you could do it! Have never been so proud of you :) It's been a long time coming, but it was worth the wait! Now that match is over I can now get back to the fundamentals like eating, drinking and sleeping!lol
Now to beat Federer for the title!

he did well, maybe it was a leap too soon for him to beat Federer in a major final such as this, but it gives him something build on

Yeah, with hindsight perhaps it was a bit too much to ask, but am still immensely proud of him :) This is meant as a joke, but I blame Gordon Brown for his loss! The second I heard Brown had sent him a letter wishing him luck I knew that was the end of it!lol Still, was very nice of him to do so :)

Me and Mum went to the Davis Cup last weekend, and I managed to get Andy and Jamie's autographs!!! I got a pleasant surprise to see Jamie walking past me on the Saturday, and Mam got the fright of her life on Sunday when she turned round to find herself practically eyeball to eyeball with Andy!

Wouldn't be the most thrilling of experiences, he's no oil painting...for all the talent he has, he still sounds like a train spotter when he's being interviewed

Actually we find him rather good looking! :) Unconventional, yes, but good looking nonetheless. Anyway, it's always thrilling being so close to someone you admire for whatever reason :) Even that Scottish drawl sounds charming in the flesh, so to speak. I'd rather listen to Andy than for example Gavin Henson or David Beckham

Andy's just admitted to liking Meat Loaf in front of 17,000 people in the O2 arena, not to mention the TV audience! He's just won his third and last round robin match to qualify for the semi-finals at the ATP World Tour Finals, despite losing one match.

During the post-match interview the interviewer said "I think Meat Loaf said it best, 'Two Out of Three Ain't Bad'...I know that's probably not your kind of music..."; and Andy grinned and said "No, I like Meat Loaf, 'Bat Out of Hell' is a great song!"

Made me doubly happy after the win!

I'd been listening to Meat just before watching the match, too! lol

Hah, that's fantastic! Not as fantastic as digging up an almost 4 year old post! :)
