Latin For All Occasions by Henry Beard. It was produced for a chain store that sells reproduction antiques (that's the only way I can describe it) called Past Times. There are a couple of different volumes. The one I have (Vol 1) is a dark green colour. It's not the most useful book in the world, but I find it quite funny learning how to order a bag of gummy bears, curse your computer, cheer on your fav sports team, or rob a bank in Latin ![]() For instance, An all purpose stick up note... Catapultum habeo.Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam. "I have a catapult.Give me all the money, or I will fling an enormous rock at your head." |

Sorry my mistake!!!
Caballum means horse as in a pack horse or an old nag. I was looking for Equus which means horse int he sense of a war-horse such as a cavalry man would ride!! Oh well - Nunc est bibendum |
