OK - lady has just phoned back from ITV Carlton - apparently central news west covers birminghamand she has said that they cannot confirm this story as they did not run it tonight

well he thought it was funny when it was in the paper many years
ago that he had died on stage, but that was when it was a genuine mistake
i think it is obvious who has probably done this sick trick, i think anyway
that their is only one person sick enough.

Well as the same person (and I use the word in its loosest sense) has claimed the dubious honour of posting the hoax message about the rescheduled Manchester concert being cancelled, I think we can safely assume the whole story about Meat's admission to hospital is a pack of wicked lies.
