There should be a link somewhere on the page that, when clicked, will allow you to view the unaltered page. The unaltered page should also have a link to reverse the display. These links are only displayed on pages containing content related to users on your Ignore List.
Trust me, there's such a link.

I can't help but think the ignore list could be a bit strange though. If you don't actually see any posts by the users on your ignore list some threads could lose their sense (assuming they made sense in the first place ) if some posts are missing.

There isn't anyone I'd want to ignore so I guess I'm not going to find out.
But it says in the FAQ that if you put someone on your ignore list, you still have the option to see all posts, right?
For me personally: I wouldn't put a person on ignore, because even if someone really annoys me or is abusive, I'm still far too nosy, and want to see that person's response. he he... but that's just me.

I like the buddy-thingy. Wish I knew how to make it work on my forum, but I didn't write my forum, just use the YABB software, I just don't have the knowledge R has.
But the members that don't like this buddy-option: they can choose not to use it, right?

And exactly this will make people think about "ignoring" or "disallowing" somebody else. This coin has two sides and both are visible all the time.

.
I hadn't thought of it like that.....you have a point there, and i do hope you are right, time will tell.
Thanks for the reply and explanation R. it is appreciated.
