Then I hope it's something we can get to, and get past soon, given it was the single thing that upset Meat during the whole process, and he's doing so much to be proud of. I'm more excited to see him doing so well

I understand what you are saying & agree with you. That particular incident is being focused on just because every week that goes by that we don't see that incident is another week more that we know that Meat is sticking around and won't be the one getting fired. We all want Meat to go as far as possible in the show, preferably to end up as the new Celebrity Apprentice in the end. Go Meat!

His reaction was kinda funny, but he was clearly disappointed.
I'm sorry.
After Meat's latest video tweet, I feel awful about this part of my review. I didn't know all that background that Meat gave...and I feel bad that I sorta' took the show at face value vs. it being any other way. I got sucked in and should have known better. I'm glad Meat posted the video to set the record straight. I'm sorry if Meat took any offense. That was not my intent.

Ugh, I'm just sick now.

Don't be so hard on yourself Suzie. I said something like that when it had first aired. I said who was the idiot that hung the banner over the TV they should definitely be brought into the board room to be fired. Oops, sorry! Like you, I didn't know the whole story. Almost everybody watching had similar thoughts. Like you I am glad he set the record straight. And now we are on to week 5! Looking forward to more videos to come

I agree, don't beat yoursef up Suzie, I thought the same thing about the banner, thinking someone else put it there too. But never doubt, I never thought Meat was stupid for not knowing. I'm glad he cleared that up as well. I can't wait for his video after tomorrow nights episode.

Meat's been in the business for years, and I'm sure knows only too well, and understands, how editing can shape audience perceptions. You didn't criticise him, just commented on what you saw, and the edited programme didn't give the full and real picture. One of the reasons some of us didn't want to make judgements on that first few seconds promo clip of him with Busey .. and watching Busey in the series so far has shed quite a bit of light already in terms of context on that imo

Perhaps knowing that next week some important things may not make the final edit for many reasons (often based on what the Apprentice producers clearly love to present in terms of "good TV", ie discord and fireworks), is why Meat's decided to post a short video after some shows to provide the context which may be omitted.

This Tweet explains why Meat looked so miffed when he was asked what was behind the door .. he was peeved by the situation he was put in. Not surprising imo because he's generally coming across as a thoughtful and thorough planner, and would not leave himself open to being wrong-footed

Totally agree with you here Caryl.

Ok, time for me to add my two cents. I've been watching CA, but haven't commented on anything. Meat Loaf appears to be one of the strongest members of his team. Backbone is pretty much Lil Jon, Meat Loaf, Mark McGrath, John Rich and Richard Hatch. I think Busey, Conseco, McGrath and Lil Jon will be gone before Meat Loaf has anything to worry about. John and Richard will be his toughest competition.

On another note, I don't know why you're sorry Suzieq. You presented the recap as it was displayed by the editing. I had the same impression about the door hidden behind the banner. And I had that impression because that's the way it was edited and presented. I seriously doubt Meat Loaf was offended by your recap and if he was, shame on him. He knows how this stuff works.

I had asked for a day and a half to unlock that door , the show told me they couldn't. I had given the guy a tour of every outside door on that camper. I hung the banner over the door on purpose. Then he ask me. I couldn't believe it. They cut it to make me look wrong. I went had a very firm conversation with the producers. Told them they could not hold it against the team. They made it look like I had done nothing about the door. WRONG !!

PS it is going to be that way this week with my fight with Gary, they are going to make it look like it's over art supplies. NOT!!!! Just the straw that broke.....

Anyone who's watched the programme so far with an ounce of comprehension will have observed that camel's shoulders stiffening under the strain! Sometimes what you would have preferred not to do ultimately gets a result though. Gary doesn't seem to respond usefully to criticism or feedback, however carefully or gently it's given. Sometimes people need to see the effect they have

Never fear Meat, I've watched enough reality TV to know how they can edit things to look bad for certain people and the full story is often not known. You've shown great restraint and patience with Gary over the weeks, and it's obvious you had just finally had enough. No one will hold that against you.

Thanks Meat ... I knew there had to more to the story than what they showed on tv

It was just a matter of time ... if people have been watching the show up until this week, they'll see what Gary's been like, and how patient you've been dealing with him. I'm sure people will be sympathetic ... especially if they show your heartfelt apology to him (that we've also seen in the trailers).

Yep ... it's all about the ratings It's just like the Jerry Springer Show, one of the hightest rated shows in the USA. People turn in to see the fights and confrontations, not people sitting on the stage being nice and polite to each other. It's for the shock value .... and as trashy as the show is, Jerry's laughing his way all to the bank

Really? I thought he was finished. I don't bother to watch it; there's no point anyway, since every other word is bleeped.

I knew someone who was on the show- it's almost totally made up.

Yes ... it's on in the middle of the afternoon and again early in the morning (I think). Sometimes I'll watch on Wednesday afternoon when I have the day off

Now that you say that, I always wondered why the fighting stopped when it's time to break for a commercial
