Yeah I was thinking as I read your post Lucy...with all the travelling up and down the country you two do for gigs, the difference in cost of making your own food compared with Service Station costs would probably almost pay for another ticket each month!

I think we all need our little treats now and again.

It's amazing how many useless sods there are out there who can't cook a simple meal from scratch using fresh meat and vegetables and just fill their bodies with crap on a daily basis.

On my last trip back to the UK, I went through Tesco's in Brighouse and I felt I was walking through a Man Vs Wild episode with amount of stomach churning crap they had on the shelves :vomit: I was half expecting to bump into Bear Grylls doing his weekly shopping.

There was something on the radio a couple of weeks ago saying that scientists have suggested pizzas are the secret of staying youthful...apparently the tomato base is beneficial in reducing sunburn and protects against some cancers...so you can eat Pizza guilt-free

Helen if you could see me now you'd take that back!! Yesterday was such a lovely day that I sat out on the bench in the garden with a book. I was very good, came indoors for breaks and eventually gave up and came in because I was too hot, which apparently was too late and I swear to you there are parts of me now that are purple! I look scorched!

And if your highlights have gone green in chlorinated water just put tomato ketchup on your hair for half an hour then wash it off and the green will have gone!! The tomato is an amazing thing!!

These wouldn't be Italian scientists, would they?

It is a bit annoying the way that (for example) one week we get told that butter makes us fat, then the next week that it cures cancer, then the following week that it gives us piles, then the week after that it's a cure for piles. It'd be nice if they could make their minds up! Till then I know where they can stick their latest proclamations ...

I think the trick is to eat the pizza before you go out in the sun, not after

That is really annoying, I've given up listening to any of it. Common sense tells you what's going to be good for you and what isn't, and if I get an illness I'm not going to blame it on the amount of orange Smarties I've eaten

The orange ones are ok its the blue ones that were dodgy but they're 100% natural now so its a Smarty party!!

No, you're not supposed to eat it - you're supposed to use the pizza to spread the tomato all over you!

You might look a bit of a lemon afterwards though ...

There's an easy solution to these problems... if scientists come up with bad and good points for a food you like then you listen to the positive. Vice versa - if you don't like it.

My dad sums it up fairly well though...he always says that if you like it, it's probably bad for you and if you don't like it, it's probably good for you! Haha

So in 2 weeks time are we all going to be cooking Meat's Tuna casserole surprise seeing as it will be freshly made?????

Going back to the original topic of sausages - 100 yrs ago unscrupulous butchers used to fill their sausages with sawdust to save money. Thats why the law covering ingredients lists was brought in!
