I wouldn't say that...we are receiving quite a few votes from people who didn't send their nominations for one reason or the other...

And it's true that every little bit helps...as the votes come in...it is becoming obvious that some raised eyebrows nominations are fast becoming a thing of the past...like I said...nominations are nothing...and we had a HUGE amount of those...it's really votes that count....

Ran to get here by midnight your time but got stuck in terrific traffic!!!

Not just missed the deadline but also missed my co-worker - Da Fair Claire...

Well, the polls are closed...

Please give us just a little bit of time to get together...not just that we live in different countries on different continents with a small pond between us (you may truly call these year's M.E.A.T.I.E.S. International) but we also have 5 hours difference between us and surprisingly enough...we both have real time life...so we do need to get together and collate all the final votes.

Alright...on my part I also would like to thank the community with entrusting me with this task...

I also like to thank everybody who nominated and/or voted - the turn out was incredible - you made this year's M.E.A.T.I.E.S. very special!!!

Being one of the people collecting votes I do know that many votes came for me in the categories that at the end I haven't won - and I thank you very much for that and although I haven't won...there is always next year!!! And I did have a VERY stiff competition in most categories in any event...stiff as well as deserving...

I am very grateful to win in the category of the postwhore...because believe it or not...I did have a very stiff competition there too and it even looked for a while that I may not win that one - believe it or not!!!

So I am grateful to accept whatever it is that I've won in that category...and if it's a free ticket, airfare and lodging for November's Wembley...just send me a PM and I will send you my mailing instructions immediately!!!

Congratulations from the bottom of my heart to all the winners - reading through the list of winners again, I do see that the best of the best in each category won!!!

I'd liek to thank all thos epeople who've featured in my life to some extent over the last year ... without you lot I'd have nothing to blog about, it's your antics that have won the prize really!

Also thanks to those who've received infraction points, warnings, bans, merged threads, deleted posts and PM'd slapped wrists, likewise without you lot I couldn't have been best mod this year ...
