Hi guys!

Hmmm just wanted to say that I really love Meat Loaf's music but unfortunately I am not that familiar with him yet, so I hope I'll learn more about him with your help.

Always hope! Always! :)
So long as you don't forget the location of the Post Reply button (I swear it moves every time I wanna post).

Advised listening :
Bat Out Of Hell
Bat Out Of Hell 2 : Back Into Hell
Welcome To The Neighbourhood

and the new: Couldn't Have Said It Better Myself

Although there are many you or I could suggest to many the disagreement, but I think they are the staple diet of my if not other peoples Meat Loaf appetite. Although maybe you could try the Very Best of Meat Loaf... but that misses some goooood songs!

You didn't ask this question, but ever eager to please I spotted you didn't know much about him. Get these 4 albums, then whatever else you can find with new songs (there are listing on this site somewhere).... and I recommend "To Hell And Back" the official Meat Loaf autobio! :)

Have fun!
We have a chat every Sunday at 9pm GMT if you can join us. The link is on the homepage of here :)

Hi Wild Honey.
Welcome to the forum.
Don't worry that you don't know too much about Meat,we all have to start somewhere.
You've certainly come to the right place to learn .

Thank you all for the help! Erm, I had the Best Of double cd and liked the songs, and I've seen Meat perform live once at the Nokia Night Of The Proms in Cologne. I'm trying to catch up on his songs now, and my Sweetheart was so kind to get me lots of Meat's cds copied and there's really some favs that I have now. The only prob is I cannot visit this site all that often, but I'm trying my best! Thanks again!

I think you should listen first time "For Crying Out Loud". I know it's lot but this is the most fantastic song of soft music!!!

Just hang in there untill you can buy your CD. Release date in Holland was March 31st but I wasn't able to buy it on that date, had to wait a few more dates...

There are so many new members, the last week alone........!!!

But are they all long time fans or just really newbies......just heard the music of Meat Loaf for the first time???

Very curious, cause otherwise they would have found this forum a long time before the latest album release....... Or am i wrong?

Hi Tim.
I think it's a combination of people rediscovering Meat or hearing him for the first time.
Also I think that there will be many long time fans who are discovering the internet for the first time.
