Default Has Meat gone?

Bearing in mind what Meat said on Facebook, following the death of Robin Williams, I guess he's decided not to come here anymore.

I wouldn't worry, Meat regularly takes his vacations from here, tends to find his way home after a while.

He's discovered Facebook as well, which is a great way to get his messages out to over a million fans, and he usually responds on there to many people. I've noticed he's on here less even when he is here, but that's ok. I'm excited that he's found multiple avenues to reach everyone online. It's very cool!

And right now he doesn't seem to have time for posting on the internet . presumably working very hard on the album. I think the last time he posted on his FB page was in the immediate aftermath of Robin Williams' death

Over a year on and still no sign of him. I guess he really has gone then. Shame.

Yes, although he may still return. Although with snarky comments like the one posted before yours, one wouldn't blame him if he didn't ..

If he were on here now he'd be deluged with questions about the album. I'd prefer he concentrate on the recording and pop in if he wishes when he has something he can talk about.

Exactly...Last thing he needs is to feel all stresesd out because of all the people commenting on their decisions. He's such an empathetic person it effects him a lot, he wants everyone to be as happy as possible....I know because I'm like that. So im glad hes taking some space...I hope he does what he feels is right and what his muse and those close to him tell him and reveal it in it's complete form It'll be perfect.

Meat Loaf needs to stay off of the internet.

Hire a PR person to post on internet forums, Facebook, etc...

Every time he posts I think less of him. This past year of him not being here has made me forget how childish he can be.

It's all a bit double to me. As an artist I think highly of him. As a person he can do things that make me like him a lot. Like Andy and Lucy's wedding in Vegas. Brilliant.

But as a person I wonder what is wrong with guy at times. Like his last rant on fb. It was incoherent, not factual and quite low standard. And so were a few of his replies to other fb users. If anything Meat seems low educated when he gets loose. He need better management from preventing him to go there, imo.

Then again, we might see a lot of Meat the coming year and a half. Now that his idiotic buddy runs for President. I listened to his speech and it was as incoherent as it was stupid. Meat could be his VP

I just watched a bit. Holy shit that Trump guy is completely insane.

These are the kind of people that rant and rave about how everything should be better in the USA for Americans but at the same time will employ poor Mexicans to build their hotels and buy cheap parts from China to build them with. They are in fact often the source of the exact problems which have been created.

Luckily all those republicans stand no chance against Hilary Clinton.

He is my favourite artist, and as a showman and entertainer there are very few he's equal imo, he comes across as a great character on tv shows, interviews etc etc,,. But I've always said that's were it stops with me. That's all I know about him, I have always lived by a moto as such, what a singer, actor do or say in their other life is not my business. What way they vote, do they drink, do they like ketchup etc etc,, some people who have met him found him to be a kind and caring man, etc etc,, I'm not saying anybody should agree with me, or that I am correct in everything I say. But singers, actors, celebritys are all human too, good days and bad days. So I never presume anybody to be anything other than human. Warts n all as such.

Man I dislike this post so much I was considering reporting it. Why would anyone visit a site like this to read crap like that about themselves from an alleged fan. . Rude, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. But if he reacts badly he's being childish. Ffs.

Ive never had so much mixed emotions about a post on this forum.

I feel it could've been put nicer but at the same time some of it is true but when it comes down to it the post was a tad harsh.

This is coming from someone who has been on the broad side before and it almost ruined me emotionally.

Still love meat no matter what.

I agree totally, it amazes me how on a FAN website stuff like that can be posted.

Wario I can understand perhaps why you have those thoughts and reasons, and everybody is allowed an opinion, of course they are. And I agree people need to look at what they post and how they post it etc etc,, BUT that is why I never let myself get too attached, as I have said before - I know Meat Loafs music, I know the Actor and celebrity. But again that's were it stops for me, maybe Meat tried to get closer to he's FANS!!! And interacted fairly often with us. Sometimes letting your guard down can lead to people overstepping the mark.

Myself as well.

However I think don't think it's right to let someone get away with the stuff that they post just because I like their music. IMO his posts can border on immature, and they tend to make me think less of him.

It AMAZES me that people have blind devotion.

ML is a human being like everyone else. Therefore subject to criticism like anyone else when he makes himself look like a fool.

Blind devotion? Lol, if u go through my posts on here ( no blind devotion ). As I say I come here for Meats music related stuff. If I want to post stuff ( less positive as such ) there are better places to post it than on a FAN made and FAN run website!!! A website that the ARTIST is a member!!! I don't know Meat as a non celebrity as such, I just know the singer, entertainer, actor, I don't really care what he had for dinner? I have seen times were he has posted some stern replys on here, but mostly in response to being provoked. But that can be expected when the artist in question talks amongst the fans, it's the risk he has taken I guess? I usually post what I want on my facebook ( well within the law lol lol ). If Meat wants to indorse a candidate or post even something random? He is allowed to do so on he's own Facebook page. Of course he is in the public eye, but again I'm a fan of the mans music/films. Not who or what he likes? What he's favourite dinner is?

It wasn't really a response to you. I've been on many fan forums and most don't seem to care about criticism of the subject artist. Here, it seems to be more that people don't want to scare ML into not coming any more.

I don't really care about his opinions or his political leanings, it's more his vitriolic responses to people here and in other social media. It actually amazes me that fans defend it. I never saw anything like that AT ALL until I came to this forum and saw that side to ML.

In all honesty he has a right to do that, but I also have the right to think less of him because of it.

U do have that right 100%,, I know some people on here have had run ins with Meat. Mostly all resolved and in the end everybody lets off steam I guess. Now as for nasty posts? I myself have not seen many from him, or have I recieved any. But maybe you have in some cases? Back to the topic - maybe you could word things a bit better
