Thank you everyone for your good wishes. Met up with good friends, it didn't rain on the BBQ, we all put the world to rights over a glass or 3 of champagne, and two best cards were a photo of my dear friend Sue and me which I had forgotten we took long ago on a Meat excursion

, and one from my brother .. Sylvester type cat marching purposefully towards the neighbour's prize flowerbed, with a copy of the Times under one arm, and a roll of toilet paper clutched firmly in the other paw

Caption should have read "I think you might want to give that flowerbed a little time!"
