There goes the chance of Sony putting out a package with something we haven't seen many times before for another year.

Jesus christ Sony......

Bottline Line or El Macombo...... A two disk special edition with a remastered 1978 radio live show like the billy joel "Piano Man" special edition had.

This pisses me off.

Wasn't this exact special edition (minus the 3D cover) released a couple of years ago? If I can get it dirt cheap, I might pick it up for Dead Ringer on the DVD, since that was omitted on the eerily similar 25th Anniversary Edition, which I got dirt cheap just for the DVD.

Releasing another BOOH re-issue you have got to be kidding me. It's the most flogged to death album at this stage.

Like the sound of the cover, but some new content would be nice

Read 'Em And Weep should be saved for when the whole of Dead Ringer finally gets remastered.

A 4 CD set with out-takes and alternate mixes on disc 2, the El Mocambo show on disc 3 and the Nassau show on disc 4 would be worth me handing some money over to Sony.

It may be a rehash.

It might be a cash in.

But never, ever, refere to BAT as "cheap"

It'll be interesting to see how it does in the charts.

Actually, would it be eligable for the charts as it comes with a DVD?

Can't help but be a little disappointed with this one, primarily because I think Bat deserves more!

I appreciate that there might not be room to release any new/previously unheard materials like other artists have, but to me it seems criminal not to make the most of that stunning artwork...some kind of box-set maybe? I don't suppose there's much new content they could give us but it would have been nice to have something that's just a really beautiful object to mark the "end".

Wouldve been the perfect time for meat to go through his "little file" and give us a three disk 1988 Soundboard from the 10th anniversary BOOH Tour.......

THAT boxset would be Sooooooo worth it!

IMAGINE THIS BOXSET:

DISK 1: BAT OUT OF HELL REMASTERED

DISK 2: 10th Anniv. Tour Part 1 (frying pan, masculine, took the words, come in the night, originalsin/bfg, modern girl, dance in my pants)

DISK 3: 10th Anniv. Tour Part 2 (im gonna love her, lost boys, bat out of hell, two out of three, dead ringer)

DISK 4: 10th Anniv. Tour Part 3 (midnight, paradise, rock medley)

2 DVD SET- HITS OUT OF HELL (feat. UNRELEASED VIDEO ILL KILL YOU IF YOU DONT COME BACK) and THE UNRELEASED DEAD RINGER 1981 MOVIE

I'm sure Sony has a few things tucked away.

Again this would be more appropriate with a Dead Ringer reissue, although I think it should remain unreleased.
