Default Is it possible to sell M&G-tickets?

We have trouble finding suitable flights to Birmingham and back to Norway and can sadly probably not attend the concert and must therefore possibly sell our tickets...

But is it possible to sell M&G-tickets?

The tickets must be picked up at the arena, and I think you have to identify yourself with the creditcard you used when you bought the tickets?

Anyone who knows if it's possible to get out of this mess?

(It is two very good tickets by the way... Block B, row A in Birmingham...)

Sometimes they haven't asked for ID when it's one of Meat's group handing the tickets out but they always do when it's a box office pick up. Fancy posting you credit card to someone?

Check with where you booked them, they MAY take them back as they're a guaranteed resell.

The tickets are bought from Ticketmaster, so I doubt that they are willing to take them back, but I can make an attempt.

If you find you can re-sell them PM me as I would def buy them, have been looking for good seats for Birmingham and a M&G would be the icing on the cake!

The paid M&Gs I've been to have basically been roll calls of names, I don't ever remember needing the card they were paid for on (which is a good job, as they've usually combusted by then!)

Wondering if there's a way just to change the name on the M&G as if it was a gift, which you should be able to do as you've got all of the original payment details...?

(So sorry you might not make it by the way )

No, no direct routes... We need to visit at least two or three different European airports on our way, in addition to that we have to be in Birmingham for at least two nights...

The flights are also extremely costly...

How about a direct flight to Manchester then the train to Birmingham

(would offer you a lift but our car doesn't fit 4 people and we're moving )

I'm not sure where in Norway you are, I know you can get direct flights to Manchester from Oslo. If you can do that then you're looking at about £15 each to get a train from Manchester Airport to Birmingham International (if you book in advance).

Thanks for the tip

We will do some more searching for options, but we originally chose Birmingham because there was all in one place. Airport, hotel and the arena. No need for additional transport.

If we can sell or cancel our tickets we may try to get to the concert in Hamburg (Germany) instead. It's also a long trip from Norway, but it is possible to go by car all the way (or boat to Kiel).

If you do fly to Manchester it's a really easy trip to Birmingham - Manchester Airport has it's own train station (you don't even have to go outside of the airport!) then it's a direct train to Birmingham International, which is basically the NEC's train station it's all on the same complex.

Fingers crossed!

What part of Norway are you in? Ryanair fly from Oslo Torp and Rygge to Manchester and Liverpool as well as Stansted. They also fly Haugesund to Stansted. Then as Lucy said train or even National Express coach to Birmingham.

Train - the M6 South on a bus is no way to welcome international visitors.

Maybe if you will find someone who would like to buy those tickets, you will inform Ticketmaster that you have to resign from those tickets, but you have someone who'd like to buy them.

Since when? I've given them away and never had any adverse repercussion s. I don't believe they care who actually attends as long as they are lawfully claimed at the box office.

That's the point, they need collecting by the person who booked them.

Honestly I have no idea - there's all the official written rules about needing ID, the card they were ordered on etc but I don't ever remember actually being asked for any of it on the day...I guess it's one of the measures to stop touts?

I would definitely check with Ticket Master or VIP Nation (the ones who handle the M&G packages). When Meat was on tour last summer, I had an extra M&G package for the show at the Mohegan Sun Arena .. and they let me exchange it for a M&G package for the show in NY. I know other people who were able to get their money back when they had to cancel their M&G packages. Good luck ... I hope it works out for you !
