Default Live version of "Alive"

Hello there,

I've been looking at live videos and I couldn't find a single performance of the song "Alive" (my personal favorite).
While talking to one friend who is a huge fan of Meat Loaf he said that Marvin said once in a interview that he doesn't like that song to perform live.. is that true?

I've bought my ticket to see him in London in the farewell tour and I really hope he will perform it.

Thanks

Fred

Alive was never done live - it was played during the interval to accompany the video montage of Meat's acting career.

Thanks LucyK!

Even though I still think it would be a blast to see it live.
Thanks for the explanation :)

I sincerely hope he does!! That's something I'd love to hear!! It was such a brilliant song to soundtrack the montage video but it was disappointing when it came on as it ruled it out of the show

Though I thought Desmond Child's production on the Bat 3 Steinman tracks were a bit disappointing I thought he helped to write some of Meat's best songs of the 2000s, including this one. Complete insanity it never graced the setlists in my opinion. That and What About Love. Superb stuff.

Alive, tbh, is one of Meats best tracks he has recorded, and if I honest, Alive, Blind as a Bat and What About Love, are better than most tracks on Hell In A Handbasket
