Meat's vocals are really not that great on those previews in my opinion and appear very drowned out with the backing vocals or with Patti when she is "doubling" the lines (it actually seems MORE than doubling when she comes in, more like take over?).

But for what it is it does sound like a quality product.
This is weird, I think Meats vocals are really quite clear, I can hear him really well. Weird that you hear it drowned out. I wonder if it's like someone else said and different computers sound systems make things sound different? Anyway I guess we won't really know until October.

He sounded a bit drowned out on the night, but not all the time, just in places

Thanks.

I didn't want to make any judgements in case it was just my computer but either way I'm really looking forward to this release.

Seriously, get off this moral high horse your on.

Nothing that I have said has been derogatory or a personal attack, just honest opinions

The vocals are sub par, don't know any nicer way to say it

From everything I am hearing from the clips on iTunes, it sounds like this is exactly the product Meat Loaf fans have wanted for years - a not watered down, full on Meat Loaf musical attack. Oftentimes, the arrangements of the music we hear in concert are watered down for commercial release, but it seems as if all of the extravagances and frivolities of a live Meat Loaf show have been left in this time. I am looking more forward to this now more than ever.

Well if you notice, right above that, I stated clearly that I was expressing my honest opinions, so I really didn't feel the need to repeat the same words in succession

I'd agree with that absolutely David. I loved the shows on this tour, Meat was on top form, and to have something that recreates the experience of being there again is exactly what I'm looking forward to I have studio versions of the songs. I want to recapture his and again hear Meat and the NLE live and over the top

That is correct, the intro was just as it seems to be on this tour

Have just listened to the clips on itunes and I have to say, I think it sounds great! This is gonna be played to death in my car, along with HCTB and HIAH. Personally, I would have preferred to have had a couple more songs from HIAH on there, instead of TTW and AFL, but I understand why they are there and it won't stop me playing it over and over! Roll on October!

Patti's voice is still AutoTuned / whatever it is in Stand in the Storm. It's so distracting

Other than that...that was amazing. That was, quite literally, the best vocal of Bat I've heard in any recording, be it official or not so much, since Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. October needs to hurry up
