Default sales figures?

Is there an official sales breakdown of all Meat's album and single releases?
I often hear Meat has sold anything from 60 to 100 million records. Where are these figures from?

Off the top of my head (and I'm sure there's someone who will know this better than I will):

-Bat out of Hell sold around 45 million.
-Bat out of Hell 2 sold around 14 million.
-Dead Ringer and Bat 3 each sold 8 million.
-Midnight and Hang Cool each sold around 1 million.
-Couldn't Have Said it Better and Blind Before I Stop didn't break a million (unsure)
-Welcome to the Neighbourhood sold a fair bit, but I don't have any idea of a specific number.
-Hell in a Handbasket hasn't even been released in most of the world yet

That equates to 77 million, not including CHSIB, BBIS, Welcome or HiaHB. BUT I'm probably a little off in places.

And I can't help you at all in regards to singles :P

Have a look here of course it's a few years on now, so sales will have increased.

Meat needs to go some to beat the album sold every 8 seconds that Adele managed on average last year!

Bat out of hell - sales are in dispute because no record company wants to cough up the cash,, as of 16th dec 2011 it had shipped 15.6million units in the usa. 8.2million across europe. 1.8million in australia. 2.2million in canada. and around a further 3.7million across the rest of the world. it has shipped over 35 million units worldwide, thats 100% guarenteed. so the 43 - 44 million quoted are very possible.

above just an example,,

bat out of hell 35 - 44 million
deadringer 5 - 6 million
midnight 1m+
bad att 1.5m+
hits out of hell 2m+
blind before 500.000+
bat 2 16m+
wttn 4m+
very best of 3m+
chsib1m+
bat 3 3m+
hctb 600.000+
plus other releases such as piece of action/live cds/best of,s -- mount to over 2 million+

whats the difference between shipped and sales? and how would, for example the destroyed signed hctb albums fall into the figures?

shipped means what the record shops/retailers order in. not always what was sold = still means sold, if you know what i mean? im confused

in the usa they certify albums gold/platinum etc etc, with shipment orders = bat 3 shipped 500,000 copies in the usa, over the counter sales were 378,000,,in the uk/most of europe the albums are certified by over the counter sales only.

HCTB copies that were left over are just left over, the record company got there cash for them, they sell to the retailers what is ordered.

That's great news. Could you write it on Wikipedia (or just could you give me links - and I will write it myself)
