Default RIP Macho Man Randy Savage

One of the greatest wrestlers of all time and right up there as one of the best of the 1980's when wrestling was huge, Lenny "Macho Man Randy Savage" Poffo passed away today following a vehicle collision.

Rest In Peace, Lenny, thanks for the memories.

And I meant "Randall" Poffo, not Lenny, who is his brother.

Really sad to hear this. I've been a big wrestling fan since I was a kid - i was a little late to see the WWF days of Macho Man, but I caught up with them in the last few years via. DVD & Youtube.

Truly a great wrestler & entertainer and will be missed! I will remember him most for the classic Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat match at Wrestlemania 3!

RIP

Ooooooooh yeeeeeeah!

That and the amazing moment when he had a retirement match with the Ultimate Warrior as the Macho King. Sad times, what a legend.

Taking a moment to reflect on a wonderful entertainer. He was a great baby face, he was a great heel. Saw him many times at a local venue, even touched him on the shoulder as he came down the aisle pre match. You know a wrestler is good when he can get an audience to both love em' and hate em' at different points in their storylines. He entertained millions, it is customary for the WWE to spotlight his career this Monday Night on Raw, Ring the infamous bells for his passing, and I'm sure there will be many an interview with collegues. RIP Macho Madness...I'm sure you are delivering epic elbow smashes off the ultimate top rope.

So sad. Who didn't love the flamboyant awesome entertainer that was the Macho Man. Even when he was a bad guy we still loved to watch and listen to him. R.I.P.

Unhappy

My Grammie watched wrestling whenever it was on. I feel fortunate to have grown up watching through the 70-80's when all the Greats were at their peaks.

RIP Macho Man!

RIP Macho Man!
There's not many of the 80's crew left. Only the good die young, RIP Randy.

I know! I decided to look up a few of the old ones and couldn't believe how many are gone. Randy was always one of my favorites no matter which side he played for.
