Default THE TUFFEST POLL EVER: For Crying Out Loud or Objects?

Their is no "Both' option for very obvious reasons (IE: it'll kill the poll).

Im pretty sure these two songs are in 99% of everyone's top 20 or are at least runners up.

For me, I prefer Objects. Its a perfect song in every aspect: Jim wrote it, Meat sang it, and references Meat's struggle with his father.

For Crying Out Loud, but only slightly. I think Objects worked as a better live song, but again only slightly.

Almost impossible. As a recorded performance FCOL is beyond Objects, actually beyond anything, but I like songs with a 'story' so (personally) I prefer Objects.

Objects, because it's pretty much my life story I'm so emotionally attached to it like no other song. FCOL is also an amazing song.

I...don't know 0.0 I listen to Objects far more, but that's only because For Crying Out Loud is the sort of song you have to be in the mood in (for me, at least). They're both amazing.

I think this is the first Meat Loaf preference question ever posed to me that I can't answer o.0

i love both song, they are amazing

the only thing that helped me to decide is the MSO performance of FCOL which is spectacular, when i saw that performance cca 2 years ago, that was the moment i decided i should see Meat playing live at least once in my life but after Birmingham i know it's not enough

I love hearing both of these songs live and if I was to base my decision on that alone I could not have picked between the two but I prefer the studio version of 'For Crying Out Loud' a little bit more than I prefer the studio version of 'Objects'. Don't get me wrong they're both fantastic and there is only a margin of difference between them but 'For Crying Out Loud' just has the edge.

To me the songs are beyond comparing to each other. One is a beautiful and powerful love song, a building crescendo of all the wonder of an enduring love; the other a poignant look back at a youth spent struggling with hurt and reaching for love. Both are deeply moving for different reasons, and for some one or other might resonate more with their own experiences. I have seen Meat pour emotion into both. Diamonds and emeralds .. beyond comparison, each with their own special fire.

Wario this is a very interesting poll. I took time to consider both options, but I voted for the song that had the biggest impact on me, and that was "Objects".

What does tuff mean? I looked the word up and only got "ejected volcanic ash". That's tricky comparison as I don't think either song is about a volcano.
