I'll admit I was a bit apprehensive while waiting for it to load on YouTube, considering the less than great performances of Los Angeloser live on TV, but this...this was amazing Best live TV performance in a very, very long time

Unfortunately we don't get that show here Mel. It was on early in the year on the HD channel, but they took it off ages ago. I hoped when we got those new channels recently, we may get it again but doesn't look like it.

I just viewed the video on You Tube a half an hour ago, and I thought he sounded pretty damn good. The band were amazing too. LOTO sounds awesome live.

Thank you Andrew and Madagascar.
Thought it was fantastic, a very good choice of song to sing on Leno ! Shortened like it has to be, but it still worked imo

It's probably too costly to fly so many people out to California just for one song.

I think the song sounded better on Leno than at the live shows. Sometimes at the live shows there can be too much music and too much backing vocals. The smaller band really rocked- Great arrangement, great vocals by Meat & Patti, just a perfect mix.

I noticed that too, but I was mostly looking at how hot Patti looked.

I got the feeling from watching Meat during the song, and when it ended, that he was really happy and enjoying himself.

Best TV performance of a HCTB song so far. He always appeared tired when doing Los Angeloser, but not this time with Living On The Outside, seems as if the old energy is back. Finally he sang a ROCK song on TV again, after all these years full of tearjerkers and the rather weak performances of Los Angeloser. A bit like it was in the 1980s, that's the Meat Loaf I became a fan of. Also liked the fact that Leno had he vinyl LP on his desk.

He should be very proud. It's the best I've ever heard the song and they were all having so much fun which translated into the performance. It was an exceptional edit and the "hey, hey" vocal section with Patti & Justin was also a better arrangement than at the live show. Excellent job by Meat & the NLE.

That was fantastic - not an easy song to sing live but Meat did a great job. Awesome to see him rockin' on TV like that again.

This performance was bad. Sorry, Meat, but the first verses were out of tune, the song fell apart sometimes.
