HI jackie O- does anyone remember me?

Hi I'm Jackie O and have been a Meat Loaf fan since the 70's. I lost all my info when my computer crashed after our power lines went down. So........... now I am trying to reconnect with some people who know me. I was on the original mailing list that Susan operated. I got to see Meat at a meet and greet in St Louis . I got to meet the president of his fan club at that time. We all went out to eat either prior or after the show. ANYWAY. a lot of pics were taken and now since my computer is crashed I may have lost them.
I may have also gone by valijohn. If you know me,or think you do send me a message . I know I posted my pic with Meat and me on someone Memorial page. ( a Meat fan who either ran a site or contributed to it a lot and died and we put up a page for her . I used my Meat and me pic on that memorial page)

I'm good. Just trying to find the person who was the president of the USA fan club back in 99. I drove to st Louis and got to take a pic with Meat at a Meet and Greet. I know she has that pic somewhere.
also,there was a disabled woman who either ran a site or helped with one and she became ill and died. They did a very nice memorial and we all left words for her family. I mention this b/c I put my pic of Meat and me on there- so if all else fails I might be able to get it off that site.
BTW I saw Meat do " los angels loser" on the Fox program on Saturday night. I love Meat as much as anyone but his voice really sounded bad. Also,that songs needs a lot of musical accompaniment , which they could not possibly have on the TV show.
does anyone know if they kept the bat caves site up?

Thank you so much. I found it!! If I knew how to photo shop I'd remove the writing ( for this profile pic) .
thanks so much. I love los angles loser. It is incredible. It just needed more musical back up than he had available on that tv show. It did not do that song justice at all.
btw,I saw him on William Shantner's" raw nerve". Very nice.

Since I got my pic up I decided to go back and reread Vee's memorial. That was a sad time for us all. It was hard to read and not cry. So many memories. You guys are the best.

Vee was the woman who ran the old OIFC website. She was a wonderful lady who passed away a few years ago.

just wanted to say hi, it has been 2 yrs since I was last here. I was dx. with myasthenia Gravis in 09 and my energy level is low most of the time. This computer has been a godsend as I don't get out of the house a lot. My energy and really ability to concentrate fluctuates a lot so when I am feeling up I will try and join in. Would you believe I finally just finished listening to Bat 3 all the way through? I am not even sure I have all Meat's Cd's since then . I do have the hang Cool Teddy Bear and the Hell in a hand basket. Have I missed any? I am also trying to catch up on Jim's stuff.

I have fond memories of the loafdom list and meeting up with the group at St. Louis. I am glad I got to meet a few of the group.
When it comes to electronics I am technically challenged . I just want an on/off and volume control and that is it--anything else and I get confused. I am on face book but since they went to that blasted time line format I can barely navigate it.
