Default Virgin Compilations?

Sony seems to have put out hundreds of cheapo compilations, but as far as I can see Virgin has only done one. Do they not realise they are missing a trick here? I may be wrong but I think they have use of: Bat 2, WTTN, VBO, Oh What A Beautiful Morning, LATW, the Hudson Theater show and the Beacon Theater show.

That would be the withdrawn single edit.

I wouldn't be too sure. Everything Louder from the Hudson Theater was a download only song on a Bat 2 reissue.

yea, thats true.

Dunno. typical studis keeping the good stuff away from the fans and putting out crap while not releasing great singles.

Just life I guess.

Indeed. It seems like record companies are against the idea of making money sometimes. Just off the top of my head:

Amnesty Is Granted
Rock And Roll Dreams
Dead Ringer (live)
I'd Lie For You
Not A Dry Eye (live)
Out Of The Frying Pan
Is Nothing Sacred (full duet version)
You Took The Words (live)
Anything For Love (longer still but not as long as the album version)
Bat Out Of Hell (live)

All live tracks from the Beacon Theater show, something for everyone and a few reasons for those who never buy these compilations to fork out a few quid.

It'll never happen!

Totally would spend a few on that compilation.

Thing is Arista who has like all of the compilations out now (from the BA/BBIS era) have use of the Meat Loaf Live at Wembley 1987 stuff!

No matter how shitty the production is for that album, its the best Meat stuff ever officially released on CD and they refuse to give us "Burning Down", "Execution Day", "Louie Louie/All Revved Up", or "DRFL" from that show.

Hell they also have the Cornwall, 1987 show which only released DRFL and paradise!
