WTF are you talking about? BTW who are you today rockfenris2005 or madhatterster?

For a start Kasim has no reason to lie as it serves absolutely no purpose to.
Just because Jim said he couldn't get anything out of Meat doesn't mean Meat couldn't sing at all, it means Meat probably couldn't sing the way Jim wanted him to. Yes the project got cancelled because Meat couldn't complete it, but there's absolutely no record anywhere that states Meat didn't complete any of the songs to a greater or lesser degree.

Since Jim takes about 1-2 years (at best) to complete an album, and he had 2 albums with his songs on come out in 1981, logically one would assume that Jim must have started the projects around 1979, which is something Kasim mentioned that he did.

I know sometimes logic fails you Ryan/Rockfenris/Madhatterster and whoever the hell you might be from one day to the next, which is probably why you use multiple aliases to try and cover up the bullshit.

Moderators, could you please stop this person attacking me for no reason? I have already said that I don't do incarnations or any of the things he's accusing me of and I really don't expect to log onto a community and be treated this way for no reason. It's actually pretty hurtful and alarming. It makes me feel that I am unwelcome or in a place that has bullies, and I know people who have stopped going to work because of bullies. Sorry for any inconvenience. I'll respond to the thread a little later perhaps.

PS. And logic does not fail me!

I suggest you use the 'Report' option on the leftor PM one of the mods direct.

Are you suggesting that because of what someone might post on a Meat Loaf forum it'll stop you or them from going to work? I've heard it all now

What I think is that you don't realize how many people you've offended or hurt on whatever forum you've posted at, but this is my last word on the matter. I no longer want to continue this thread with you because I find it too negative. And for the last time, I did not come here in a disguise and I have explained all of that to the moderator I spoke with. If I was lying, I would have been banned.

That's not what I'm suggesting and I wouldn't be surprised if you knew that.

Now please leave me alone.

Can I suggest that you two take this off line please?

We're all fed up of seeing personal arguments spill out of threads that are actually starting to become interesting to read.

The "report post" facility or the ability to PM a moderator is open to all to use, and everything reported gets looked into. Don't try and circumvent that by spouting off publicly, it really doesn't help your cause.

As I said in the other thread this stops now!

At least you can see where they're coming from. These are probably his biggest selling tracks post 80's...though I also think, well include Rock N' Roll Dreams, Objects....oh look, it's 'The Very Best Of'.

Probably should have 'It's All Coming Back To Me' on there too. Weird that they must have licensed these two tracks.

To be fair, It's All Coming Back wasn't a massive hit, while Anything For Love and Lie For you were.

And to add All Coming Back would mean another record company wanting it's pound of flesh.

Did anyone bother to see this thing also has MODERN GIRL added onto the set? Isn't that just another record company getting in on the rape as well?

Despite this compilation being a bucket o'shit at the very least Meat still has his name being peddled in the record shops.

Hey, a top 10 hit at this stage in his career was a minor miracle. And top 10s should be on any definitive hits compilation - not that this is one.

It's not a minor miracle when it's riding off the back of a Bat album, it should've been bigger. Maybe there'll be a proper 3 Bats compilation album out sometime, who knows, I won't be buying that either.

There was an advert on Channel Four for this album tonight, saying that it's released tomorrow.

Maybe otherwise hardly anyone would recognize it as a "new" CD?

well, there's hardly anything 'new' about it, is it?

I could imagine that they want to boost this (and get more money out of it, than out of all the other crappy compilations) as they already spend money for the rights on the two new tracks.

I hope no one's gonna buy their dull compilations anymore, despite of their advertising. I'm tired of record companies trying to make a fast buck by selling old stuff again and again, without putting at least some effort into their products.

You hear record companies bleeting on about falling profits, well I'm not surprised if they're churning out shite compilations when you can download any song you want from iTunes or wherever and make your own.

It's being sold in Tesco. Number 17 in the charts apparently.

I had a look at it yesterday. the extra tracks are edited versions, which is a little strange considering that all the 'original' tracks are full-length versions, and by my maths there should still be enough room on a compact disc to add the full-length versions of AFL and ILFY.

It just occured to me that in a new collector market this would have done so much better if it was called something like...Antique Hits out of Hell...
