Default Vote Meat in Capital Gold awards here...

Hi, just seen the tv advert now and Meat Loaf is listed in the legendary album part so i think all 400 members of this forum should sign up and vote for meat... hopefully he will win...

get other people to vote too, if they don't then beat them

Just seen, meat is also listed for Best release of the year too...

if you have to register to vote, then I won't vote. Simple as that...

Oh, and David, what hype? I must have missed it then. :)

Stupid website by the way: you can't even see the nominees without signing up. And as for my unwillingness to vote:

2. Eligibility to Vote

2.1 You must be a resident of Great Britain.
Doesn't apply to me, so I can't either.

Registration: use fake name and adress, I always do that.
I didn't know about having to be a resident... And I gave a Dutch adress. Does that mean my vote doesn't count?

No worries, I have a few .com email adresses I can use to vote and guess what... All of a sudden I live in London.

Well I entered my US address and that seemed to work. But does that mean my vote doesn't count either

If you're worried about receiving spam after signing up, you could sign up for a free webmail account.

No one's gonna know you aren't from the UK if you use fake information. The only time I'd be concerned is when the information people submit is checked and found to be false, or found to be from people living outside the UK.

As I have said in another thread, the hype certainly hasn't died down. In fact, for most areas of the world, it hasn't even begun. Hype does not only consist of the talk or speculation about an album prior to it's release, does not only consist of advertising, does not last for a short predetermined period, and it does not end when it has been released in a small proportion of countries and just a few people have heard it (which is the case now). There are lots of things still to come: releases in various countries, more singles (who knows what might be on them?), and tours. These things constitute hype too. I don't understand how someone could possibly think there is no hype left. Hype is still going on. That's a fact.

Good idea. Will do. Downing street nr. 10 would be nice, isn't that where the prime minister lives?
