This is the second book of his, that I'm reading, the first was "Therapy", I really liked that one.

I've read both him and his wife...Faye Kellerman...she is very good too...

... i'm quite the fan of both as well.. try never to miss their stuff.. but... Jonathan... i don't know.. i enjoyed his earlier stuff better.. some of his later writings seem a bit.. forced to me... trying too hard to make the story work.. is it just me?... all Faye's stuff is great... imo... Just finished 'The Torment of Others' by Val McDermid, about to read 'Killing The Shadows', also by Val McDermid, she's the lady who invented Dr Tony Hill and DCI Carol Jordan from ITV's 'Wire in the Blood'. Highly recommended.

that´s true it´s getting riddiculous near the end but I like his style to put sientific fact´s in his books. When you´re through you feel like you´ve studied astrophysics for years

I have to disagree, I think sphere is a good book, especially the idea that the real threat is in people´s heads, and that it can come true, a very scary thought.
The (german) title of the book is a little stupid, it´s called "the thoughts of evil", that kept me from buying it for a long time.

i liked Sphere too.. but the movie.. imo.. was AWful !!! ...

all movies to crichton movies are crap! even JP, which I really liked, couldnt watch it anymore after I read the book.

Watched the movie to "Timeline" yesterday.......ouch

Well I have lately been reading the Winston series from Michael Dobbs - British political thrillers about Winston Churchill.

I have also just completed "The life & Times of The Thunderbolt kid" by bill Bryson which was fantasti. All about growing up in small town Iowa in the 1950's.

I've finished all the Michael Connelly "Bosch" novels - they are some of the best books I have read lately about an LAPD detective.

And i have read the Stuart Pawson novels about a Yorkshire policeman. They are set ina fictional town which is based pretty much around m village!!

Next up, in no particular order, is Stephen kings latest novel - Lydias Story; Stephen ings "IT" which i have never read adn some new terry Pratchett Discworld novels.

But first, the Readers Digest Book of Home improvement - i am teaching myself to wallpaper!!
