Default Something to think about...

As you sit reading this, you are probably in quite a comftable chair. Sat in a nice house. you'vve probably got something besides you to drink or eat and are quite happy and content.

Well, pause for a moment to think on this.

90 years ago today my great grandad, like the (great) grandfathers of many people here, was crouching in a trench full of blood, shit and mud in a field near the Somme with a shoulder full of shrapnel desperately clinging to his best mate int he vain hope he would be able to keep him alive until a medical corp that couldn't cope would get there and save him.

In war there are no winners, only losers.
