Default Youtube Videos

Hey guys can i just ask for anyone that uploads videos on youtube which is the best method of recording them if you dont have someone there to help you? As i wanna upload some videos

Ah my laptop doesnt have a webcam or a built in microphone and i cant afford to upgrade until after next year.

You can get quite good high quality small video cams these days with USB and in built memory. The Flip ones are great in my opinion and I have tested a few from their range. The HDs have great picture and actually also have good sound. (which is good for gigs btw. )
They have a new one coming out mid Nov in the UK (3rd generation with image stabilisation). It's about £160, but you can get the older ones cheaper. It's worth investing imo. Their share software makes it easy to upload to YouTube without losing quality or having crazy sound sync problems. Failing that you can easily get a second hand Digital tape video cam for £50 on eBay. But you'd have to capture it onto the computer via USB or Firewire using Windows Movie Maker or i-Movie on the MAC and then upload to YouTube making the whole process a bit more time consuming and fiddly.

I actually have a usb webcam but the picture quality is awful and its no good for capturing close up magic as u end up seen the keyboard on laptop.. I have one of them small Video camera with built in USB but the batteries go so quickly.. i dont think there any goo unless someones there holding the camera for you?

The flip ones have a normal tripod connection.
