Budding Interior Designers Wanted.

It's decorating time in ChrisWorld!!

The bedroom needs redecorating as it is currently stripey walls!! Two inch thick vertical stripes alternating between bright blue and bright yellow!! The choice of the previous occupant i hasten to add!!

However,m because i am useless at colour schemes and the like, it is up to the people on here to help choose a new colour!

The room measures 12 foot squre and is 9 feet high.

Around the base of the walls there is a six inch skirting board and there is a four inch coving around the top of the walls. The woodwork and door is currently white gloss.

The room is to be painted and I am not right cracky at fancy paint effects like stencilling!! The furniture is black and white wood and the bedding is also black and white!

So, any suggestions???

Okay, not to brag but I'm a wee genius with this type of thing. Now, it helps if I can see the 'pallette' so to speak. Words are immaterial to the visual artist, my friend. Now, post a few shots of the room and we can get cracking. :)
