I am pouring this all out feeling so bad right now.

Well, I was listening to the new record, "Couldn't Have Said It Better", and well I was thinking a lot. I normally don't do that, I just get trapped into the song. Anyway I was thinking, I have the CHSIB CD, I own the CHSIB single, and I have 3 CHSIB posters. I LOVE this CD, this is MY favourite of all. Anyway, I thought to myself, I just bought one copy, one copy. How could I be so stupid. So from now on, whenever my mom pays me for babysitting, I'm going out and I'm gonna buy a new CHSIB CD, everytime. Until I get ten of them, and from then on, everytime I have spare cash, I will buy another one. You might think I'm crazy, but it really really upsets me, that someone like you puts all this Emotion into his songs, and so much effort, and barely gets reccognised by it. I'm not saying anyone on here or any other site don't reccognise him, its just the people outside these forums, who don't see how great you really are!! CHSIB by now should have sold at very least 5 MILLION by now.

People, I ask of a favour. Not for me, but for Meat in return. A lot of us has done this already, but I feel that some of us didn't pull a lot of effort into this. We have to get this record noticed, it has to be played on the radio more. Meat gives us happiness, and we show our appreciation of course by buying the records and going to the shows, and spreading the news everywhere of him. But I'm going to take it to the next level.

I don't know if anyone's heard of this show, but its called ON AIR: With Ryan Secrest. A great young man, who just started his live talk show, not too long ago. I am going to send him a personal letter, BEGGING him, to show THESE people who don't know Meat is, to show them who Meat is. Meat is a brilliant person, and it really is stinging me of how I feel, he feels really upset.

Meat, I know you do your best, I know you give it your all, and that is all you have to do. From the bottom of my heart, I love your gifts you give to us. Meat, I want to give you a gift in return, and I hope by doing so, you will feel happy. :) Your such a kind and caring soul, and the reality is, your not that noticed that much and its killing me.

You done so much for everyone who knows you and cheerishes your gifts. I am gonna buy as many CHSIB cds as much as I can afford. I will give my CHSIB single to my local radio station, and tell them to play it, or else

. I hope by writing a letter to RYAN SECREST, I hope he will do something on his show, just to show these young people, (and there's a lot of them) who watch his show, the brilliant man Meat Loaf.

I don't know if I made my point clearly, but all I am asking is that we can't give up on CHSIB. We HAVE to get it out there

!! A lot of people tell me there is more stuff in the world to worry about. Hell with that sentence, I know that. But I'm not worryied about the record's attention, just want it to be more reccognised, and find EVERY way possible to make a beautiful soul who gives so much to people something in return.

CHSIB didnt get released in Australia until late October. I had my CHSIB flown over from the UK months before it was released in Australia. I also got a copy here in November.. And since i have been back from the Adelaide concert, and telling everyone how great it was, 2 girls and a guy from my local supermarket have been down to the local Cd shop and got their copy of CHSIB... For some reason a lot of people i spoke to didnt even know he had a new cd out...Im ringing our 2 radio station tomorrow asking for them to play it... Our population is only around 12-13000......but hopefully with a bit of airplay......Who knows....

Oh God! it looks like I'm going to have to speak the obvious again.

Guys get over it! it's done, it's dusted and there's no way in hell it's ever going to make an appearance in the charts again, not unless they're giving away a free DVD with it. Meats at the end of his tour, which means no more promotion, not that he got any in the first place

but whatever he got he aint gonna get no more. Buying more copies isn't going to achieve zip-diddly-squat, all it's going to do is put a bit more money in the pocket of someone who's already wealthy.

If you want to do something more useful, then wait till Bat3 and buy 2 dozen copies then that way you might persuade him to do another World tour.

i rang our radio station here this morning and asked why havent they been playing Meats new songs..He was a bit suprised as he didnt know there was a new cd out...I took my copy down there and he is going to have a listen to see if he thinks its worth playing..(im sure he will play it) .

Before i went to the radio station i rang Universal music in Sydney and told them that i loved the new cd, and they are going to send a copy to our radio station...

It may not be a #1 but it does deserve more recoognition than it got...

Tracie that was well done of you. It is a bit sad when fans make more progress towards promoting a CD than the people who perhaps should have been, but it certainly shows that fans can have an impact. I do not personally think CHSIB is on par with BOOH or BOOH II, but it was much better to my thinking than the resulting sales and distribution here in my own country.

It's success would have additionally gone in favor for Bat III, but I am guessing the window of opportunity for a larger commercial success for CHSIB may have closed. A shame, I really enjoy the CD and it has some great material on it.

:) CHSIB is for me up there with Bat 1 & 2 !! It captures your heart,mind and soul.I am sure Meat will feel he gets the recognition he deserves through us his true fans.However it annoys the hell out of me when his albums don't get the publicity and air time they deserve.Even when his album goes to no 1 the stations don't play it and therefore it falls down the charts!

Instead they play mindless rubbish with not a trail of emotion and without a hit of passion and soul!!
But i will always have his music and be right there with him when he sings.

What if we end up with a bunch of overproduced crap like BOOH 2? Sorry, but I do not think CHSIB is over. What it needs is for a REAL promotional push (i.e. tour in major support of the album with like the album artwork as part of the set so people KNOW what this show is all about).

OOOOO LETS SET UP A SORT OF PUBLICITY STUNT OR SOMETHING!!! Oooo It could be fun............well not exactly a publicity stunt but one of those flash mob things where everyone turns up to a certain shop before it opens and then all pile in to by the album and then leave again and thats it.......everyones like woah what was that!!
