Default 2007 World Bowl Performance

With the AFL behind us we'd almost forget Meat did a similar thing in Germany in 2007. For those who never saw it, I got this from our German member pierre

btw for some reason German tv never aired the complete thing (I believe Paradise and Frying Pan were played but not aired)

YouTube Video

not the place to post this I'm afraid man. The link the thats watermarked on the video is something this site tends to stray away from.

Beleive me, aha.

But as for the medley it sounds like he just mimed 3 Bats live. he should have just mimed a board tape of BOOH and perform all of me at the AFL. this worked out fine

It's far the best performance by Meat what I saw in the last 5 years across youtube. He is not perfect but still has energy and power in his voice. Anything For Love wasn't the highlight but still the best in the last years.

I didn't see this video before, thanks for sharing. I just don't understand what happened to him after Bat3. I heard a few of his new songs (yes, downloaded version because of stupid marketing ideas ) and I found his voice very weak in these songs, except Live Or Die...

Not sure what's wrong with that site. Just another fan review and info site. Anyway I think this was mimed but it worked. Too bad it's edited the way it was.

@ White of High. I do believe Meat came back strongly in 2010 with the Hang Cool Tour. Better than the 2007 and 2008 shows, imo. Anyway, it's quite another band today as it was back then Aspen, CC, Kasim and Mark were still part of this one.

Nice, even that video is blocked in my country but I managed to watch it anyway.

Interesting, I recorded it from TV on the day the game took place but I don't recall him yelling "Guten Tag". Was it broadcasted more than once?

Not one of my favorite performances.

Even if it was broadcasted more than once, it would be weird to edit in the 'Guten Tag' later. I guess you just missed it originally

I know the ARD showed a half minute clip of Frying Pan when they aired the highlights of the match. (I believe that's also somewhere on YouTube)

He did. It's exactly the same audio, even down to missing out 'that' in 'these are the days that never end.'

Aspen.

this was a lip sync alright...like wario says 3 Bats it sounds like or maybe even MSO, either way it doesn't sound like live vocals (with the exception of the Guten Tag)
