It's definitely true that you can't really delete your account. I deactivated mine once (thought I had deleted it, also), and when I decided to come back, everything was still there. I saw "The Social Network" recently, and I nearly deactivated my account again because Mark Zuckerberg was portrayed as such a jerk. I know it's probably a bit exaggerated/fictionalized, but some of it is indeed true- the lawsuits, for instance. |
