Default Fake/Spam email about HCTB doing the rounds

I saw this email in my inbox today, this russian guy is claiming to be "Patrick" I have just copied & pasted the text in the email below:

I am that very injured soldier from "Hang Cool Teddy Bear"! My name is Alexander. This is a true story!! The album is devoted to a really existing girl. Her name is Tatyana!!! But I am not a regular soldier. My fate is similar to the one of Kenny (Objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are). In the house behind my back I saw "Elvis in Vegas"!!
This story has a pre-story!! It is tragic and amazing simultaneously and is related to the albums - Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose !! It is beyond words!!!

I live in Russia and do not speak English.

Phone: (I won't include this bit)

Seriously, WTH? There was a picture attached but I daren't open it, & I did not open the email either, this is just copied from the Yahoo email preview thingo. Did anyone else get an email like this?

From Russia with Love

You have to give the spammers credit for creativity. The Nigerian prince in trouble has been replaced by Patrick... er... Alexander. It's a little disturbing that a Meat Loaf fan receives such a message that refers to Meat Loaf albums. I tend to suspect that that e-mail was tailored for you.

No. Guess it was a good idea to declare that I don't like Patrick, LOL.

Yet he can spell "simultaneously"! He's like the Russian opposite of Wario

I agree with Sarge; this seems to be a well targeted email. I wonder where he got the email address(es) from.

Indeed a well crafted and targetted piece of social engineering, delete it, purge your deleted items folder, overwrite that partition of the disk, sacrifce a goat and don't click on any attachments!

If you don't have a goat to hand, just sacrifice Wario instead. I'm told that should work just as well ...
