Hmmm an impending car crash TV moment perhaps? But probably compulsive watching at the same time.

I don't know what worries me more, the thoughts of Bat Out Of Hell being performed on X Factor by anybody or the fact that there's another link to the, so called, Newspaper called the Sun

It's well known that Jim wrote Bat as the ultimate crash song, and now finally a singer who really will make it the worst crash ever.

I've not been watching X Factor (once the funny auditions are finished I lose complete interest) so didn't know anything about Wagner apart from the word "operatic" has been linked to him several times in the newspapers.

I've just searched him on youtube and I was not impressed.
He's this years novelty act who will be good for 1 novelty party album and then he'll never be seen again.
I just hope that Bat isn't on that album

Here's last week's effort from Wagner:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-jtjggnagU

As he struggles with Living La Vida Loca, just imagine how Bat Out Of Hell will turn out ...

Also here's the loser from a couple of weeks ago murdering Born To Run - it seems Louis Walsh (who mentors this guy and Wagner) is purposely trying to get his acts voted off by butchering rock classics (?!)

You can get a second helping of Bat on BBC 1 on Strictly Come Dancing as Matt Baker is performing a Latino style dance to it!
Could 2 crashes in 1 day be too much for this song????

It won't be a crash on Strictly. Matt is a very good dancer and the house band are brilliant.

doubt it would be an issue if Wagner could sing, although I reckon he'd do a (slightly) better job of Bat than the other crap he's been doing

Matt is awesome, although I just can't get my head around doing Argentinian Tango to Bat Out Of Hell?

The house band are brilliant 9 times out of 10 - will be interesting to see what they do with Bat - especially the key!!

Anyway, all the best to Matt - I'm (almost!) sure it will be fantastic as always!

During the Carl Orff bit I thought that maybe it would turn out okay but then I heard the first words of Bat... The guy is somehow amusing but he just can't sing that song. In fact I haven't heard a version of Bat so far that was at least half as impressive as Meat's. That and the guy who sang Born To Run are two of the numerous reasons why I can't take such talent shows seriously.
