I really cant say theirs a contest here.

If you said MSO or Bad Attitude Live, then we'd have competition.

Even in that case MSO would still win cause BA Live is Butchered. All Revved up's intro is obviously cutdown and three interesting songs are cut.

MSO FTW, except that weird cut off in the commentary

Yes. I seem to remember a poor edit between (I think) Frying Pan and FCOL.

MSO was a great performance on everybody's part. It was fast action that a ML show gets. I know this can be argued, but everyone including Meat sounded real great. Something real memorable..

As for 3 Bats, honestly if one could turn back time. I wish they had recorded the RAH gig. Because London, Ontario, does have its moments. Some great live music and great musician support. It shows the real individuality that is Meat and NLE. It showcases Meat in 2007. Not his best year, but certainly a special night that was still worth the buy. Also, it was filmed in Canada. Very Awesome!

Honestly, 3 Bats is only acceptable for me, as it reminds me of being there at the shows myself. (extended RnR Dreams outro, Story before Objects, etc) and let's me relive this moments. I dont see any reason for someone who wasnt at any STN/3 Bats show (and who isnt a hardcore fan) to buy this dvd, especially with something as good as MSO around.

That said, I can see good aspects of 3 Bats as well. The editing for example. That fast cutting also music video like editing is something completely new for Meat Loaf recordings, while not everyone may like it I have to say it works for me in an interesting way.

MSO = Enthralling entertainment.

3 Bats = Watch-through-your-hands embarrasing misfire.

3 bats would be fins if i didnt have storytellers or mso but compared to those it sucks big time, its shame because all of the 5 shows i went to on that tour were great, shouldve waited to record a show imo.

vvveeeeerrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy long time since i watched either, so will watch both again before deciding

from memory mso had a couple of great versions, and 3 bats had a couple of great versions, so until i see them again, my vote goes to bad attitude LIVE

wasn't such an easy one to choose - as whilst I think the quality of MSO is better, 3-bats has more 'sentimental' value - as I saw gigs on the 3 bats tour.

(chose mso in the end though)

hmm i know what you mean Helen, though i saw a couple of shows from the same tour as the mso the format for the mso was very different so doesnt hold the same 'memories' for me as the 3 bats which, while there are small differences, is very very similar to the shows i saw on that tour. Love rock n roll dreams on 3 bats though
