Hey all, i have been lurking for quite a while but it may seem unlikely due to my lack of posts.
So, i think i'll introduce myself, my name is Richard and i'm 16 and from Northern Ireland. I am hoping to be a professional actor when i'm older and i was just wondering if there are any other budding actors lurking about other than me? Dick. |

I used to love acting I was in a couple of plays at school.Nothing big,but it was a lot of fun. I'm now perfecting another role. That of acting the fool The best advice I ever have heard on acting was on a documentary on James Cagney hosted by of all people Michael J. Fox.MJF quoted Cagney as saying look at the guy,say the lines, but MEAN THEM.That's acting in a nutshell Have you ever watched the Inside The Actors Studio series? It's very good. Good luck with the acting.Let us know of any plays you do. |

I have only seen Inside the Actors Studio once, which was with Mike Myers, it was very good. I can tell you that i do have an audition tomorrow as an extra in a new BBC series to be made in Belfast i think.
