Default Meat and Barbie??? WTF!

Again I think this is another "Amazon" special in the way that it associates Meat with Barbie????

According to the site's catalogue, they have listed "Barbie And The Diamond Castle" under Meat Loaf

Strange I know.... but there you have

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Barbie-Diamo...9939716&sr=1-1

Ok, I admit I'm blonde...but how is this listed under Meat Loaf? Or are you receipt of some secret commission for barbie products??

Dunno what you have been looking for on Amazon, but that site includes items of your amazon browsing history in every page. So, if you bought some nice Barbies for you the other day and checked Meat Loaf item today, it's not unlikely that both categories appear on one page ...

Apparently Ross was doing search on Meat Loaf and came up with Barbie...and R. explained above how it could have happened...that's why we can't see it...cause we don't see all search results that he has gotten back...

You've probably got Meat Loaf and Barbie in the wrong order in the sentence

Just occasionally i wish i'd not read a thread. Though occasionally i will be pleased for the positive impact it has had on my life. This fits more in the former category for i an now even more confused!

I swear, I saw Barbie on the dvd section of my "MeatLoaf" search.... but for some strange reason its nbow come up with another dvd???!

To me this is a wee bit confusing as I have not in any shape or form been looking for Barbie's - not unless someone has come on my lappy when I've been out at work!

Here's the screeen I got when I did it this morning (the red box is where I saw Barbie yesterday but noe been replaced with this title which doesn't seem to be meatloaf related either....)

I sorted the search by Release Date on dvds

Its a mystery to me!!

When in a hole, stop digging . First Barbie and now Dr Hook ... I shudder to think what else Amazon thinks will interest you

reminds me of a story from king of queens:

Spence got a new TiVo, and let it choose to record shows he might like. When he showed it to his 'date' all on there was figureskating, CSD parades, Sex and the City, etc

I think your amazon is trying to tell you/us something. When I search "meatloaf" (as you did) I get nearly 3 pages of Meat Loaf DVDs and CDs and books etc. (don't ask me what the etc was, I'm just including it in case there was something I missed!) and the only things I get that are not Meat Loaf specific are a Jim Steinman album (no prizes for spotting a link) and a small handful of rock albums such as Bon Jovi.

Haha, same. I was looking for a few horror books/DVDs that a friend told me about last night/this morning and got a few Barbie items right in the middle of the amazon recommendations amongst things like Underworld and Interview with the Vampire!
