Default Upcoming Releases!

Well I was surfin' round Amazon and came across these 3 CD's that will be released during 2008.

Some you may already know of, but its interesting though....

In Search Of Paradise ~ Eleven Seven ~ Out: 18 March 2008

3 Bats Live ~ Universal ~ Out: 10 March 2008

Bat Out Of Hell Vinyl ~ Sony BMG ~ Out: 3 March 2008

Dead Ringer ~ Sony BMG ~ Out: 1 March 2008

Collections ~ Camden ~ Out: 25 Feb 2008

There are some there that have tracklistings and artwork on and some that don't.

I'm wondering is, Is the Search In Paradise going to contain completly different tracks than the 3 Bats is meant to have??? As they are both related to each other...

.... but In Search Of Paradise is a documentary and it seems very unlikely that a just audio version would be released. Seeing that it's being released by Eleven Seven (the indie label Marion Raven is signed to) I'd imagine it has nothing to do with the documentary or 3 Bats at all. My guess it's another compilation which we know we can expect during the 30th year of the Bat.

i think the 'good thinking batman' phrase was only used in the tv show, so maybe it is only us brits that picked up on it if it wasnt in the films, not sure though, never been a fan of batman

the Good thinking Batman expression isn't actually from the Batman show - it's an army expression, from the days when senior officers had a valet, or 'batman' to tend to them.

and, to drag this back on topic, wonder if this reissue of Dead Ringer will be remastered or not, because I'm sick of waiting for a CD issue of this that actually sounds good.

one can but dream, eh?

my vinyl version is very well played indeed. I think the CD version hasn't been played for about 5 years, save to transfer the mp3s to my PC, and wherever possible, I've taken DR tracks from other compilations because they sound so much better.

Nowadays, it seems that remastering is an euphemism for "making sure it's way too loud", e.g. the collectors edition Bat II and special edition Pandora's Box. I didn't think that was much of an improvement.
