the truth is, Meats set is probably short.

My guess:

Hot Patootie
Break It
Bat
POE
LA
Took The Words
AFL
Paradise

wont be worth 1500 bucks to a ML fan, but it is for charity.

I can certainly understand the frustration concerning the Minnesota show.
It wouldn't be so bad if he was doing another concert locally that more people could afford to go to.

The price does seem a little silly, and the cynical part of me thinks that a good deal of the people who go do so not to see Meat, but because it's the kind of exclusive celeb bash they like to be seen at
AKA phonies.
It reminds me of the show Frasier, when has snobby brother Niles goes to events like "The Ho Down For The Homeless".

Not that that's down to Meat. The people who have put it together have set the ticket price and therefore the clientel that is likely to attend.

As Wario says, Meat will likely be on the bill of artists and will be doing a much shorter setlist.

Oh I know that...its just stupid for his promoters to not address the Midwest market.

Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin...he will be in WI for Summerfest, but i HATE giant shows like that. Just one large excuse to get drunk and do drugs.

IMHO the set list may even be shorter (maybe 3 or 4 songs total) considering there are 4 other groups performing on the same night Even though people may not think it's worth the money to a ML fan, like you say it is for charity. That's the main thing .. and personally I think it's great that Meat took the time out of his busy touring schedule to help out Marlee and an amazing cause

Wow you may be right. Itd be interesting if hot patootie goes right into Bat.

Or if he starts the set with bat, which he hasn't done on any occasion since 1983!

If the charity were the main thing there are better ways to raise funds than this IMHO.

Bigger venue, lower ticket prices, lots more people there, more money raised.

As it is, it looks like a toffs night out where the cause itself plays second fiddle

I can beat that....

£1000 to get an exhaust fixed two weeks ago, this week it needs a new catalytic converter, cos that's what was ACTUALLY making it blow, for another £651.......

Just taken a delivery at work of a USB stick for one of our users.

The stick is about 10cm long, 2cm wide and 1/2 cm deep.

It was delivered in a box bigger than an average shoe box! Would cost more to post than to buy!

First thought: I'm starting to realise just how lucky I was on Friday...

Second thought: I don't know what your objective is, but I'm not going to be the losing end of it this time.

Third thought: Why didn't I eat earlier?

Fourth thought: nerves are starting to kick in now....
