I think taking beer into the garden is a better idea, it's cheaper and you don't have so far to stagger home, nor do you have the problem of how to get the bike back.

Should I go out on my bike tonight or take said beer into said garden?

Well, since the beer garden is only 5 minutes walk from home and can be visited on the way back fro walking the hound, I don't think it's a problem.

Take the bike out, it's lonely and needs some company and this solution will also ensure that I remain jealousy free for the next 2 hours.

The fastest I've ever driven myself was in my Peugeot 206cc - 120mph. The fastest I've ever been driven was in an Aston Martin DB7 (yummy!) - 145mph.
