Hi guys! Breakfast down. I'm here 'til lunch!!

Guppie, glad that you're cable is working better today! Sorry about the mailserver, though!! Seems like it's always something with these ISPs!!

Jen! Really nice to see you here and thank you for your kind words!! And also for the info about #14. You might just be right because I do have that Toronto concert here. In fact, the clip of Took the Words, came from it. Thanks!!!

And Dottie!! I'm loving your photos today!! Thanks. What does that Chinese stand for--Happy Birthday or something else??

Hey, Eva, how far do you jog? I, obviously, don't run outside, but have a treadmill inside my home and when I use it, Meat's music is always going. Makes the walking/running MUCH easier, doesn't it?!! Thanks, kiddo, for continuing to add love to this thread!!!

Oh, Crystal--now you've done it! I just got back from feeding my parents and now I'M hungry!!!

I was wondering--don't know if any of you would like to take this on--if WE could blow out Meat's birthday candles, what would we ask for, for him--aside from him feeling well again??

Just curious...

Well, I'm really late this hour, but here is the next Birthday Party Surprise for you. Some of you will have heard this one before, but perhaps, others of you have not.

Let's keep the party going!! Should be a fun afternoon, I hope!!

Sending love and birthday wishes to you, Meat, all day and all night long!!

And lots of love to all of you,
MB

What would i wish for, for Meat???

Well...i would wish for him a sell out tour, but he already has that A bestselling number one album - hopefully he'll get that again with CHSIB.

What do you get the man who has everything, apart from pennicillin???

Seriously though - i wish for Meat, a happy, healthy coming year, one where he is content both personally and professionally. A year filled with love, music and good friends.

Ooh, I love those wishes!!

I think, for right now, anyway, I'd wish him a MUCH easier working schedule, at least until his throat fully heals!!! He really sounded worried about the concert tonight, didn't he?!!

He should know that the people there will love him know matter what happens!! I'm sorry that he doesn't. He really seemed to feel bad about not being able to give you guys 100% for a while!! That was SO lovely of him to worry about it enough to ask you whether you wanted to give the tickets back!!

He's a really special guy!!!!!!

********
Well, friends, I'm trying to get back on schedule here. So, a little early this time, I'll post the next Birthday Surprise for you!

This is a Part One. I'll post Part Two a little later!!

Any more wishes for Meat??

Love,
MB

Never heard of a piker or a snapple. Is that the stuff that makes you act silly?

Ah, Guppie! Snapple is kind of a fruity drink--supposedly, according to their advertisements, made from "the good things in life," meaning real fruits, etc. I don't know how true that is. But when my dad was diagnosed with diabetes last year, we had to get him off all the sugary drinks. And we switched him to a diet Snapple, which he likes and I started drinking it, myself!!

As for a piker, it's sort of slang word for someone who does things minimally. For instance, here you are with your 'Martini and ice cubes' and I'm drinking a fruity drink!!

Language is a funny thing, isn't it?!!

Love,
MB

Sorry. Had to leave for a few minutes. My folks needed me.

By Marianne! Enjoy the film!

Hi, Heat! I'm so glad you're still here!!

Party games, huh? I think I should have given this some thought BEFORE I was up for 20+ hours!!

Let's see. It has to be something with words--we're sort of limited here.

How about:

I wish Meat an absolutely ageless, advantageous, adrenalin-filled (does that count??) acknowledged birthday!!

Anyone want to take on the "B's"? (Actually, someone could probably do better than that with the A's!!)

Or I'm open to other suggestions....

Love,
MB
