Thought you needed re-programming for a moment there RadioMaster! Phew!!
I read somewhere..one day i'll remember where...that psychologists have concluded that not liking Jim and Meat's music is a sign of serious mental instability. Maybe it was Jim that said it...

Googled it..and Meat is quoted as saying it in one of the articles on Jims site "Bat Out of Hell, The Story Behind the Album". Allegedly, liking Bat out of Hell is a sign of good mental health. Honest! That's what it says!!

"These two professors who are head of their departments at these Ivy League university in the States did this psychological test in the US Medical Journal to determine the subject's state of mind," he claimed.

"They've started to use the "Bat..." album as a sort of Rorschard test. Basically the bottom line is this: if you don't like "Bat Out Of Hell", then you have a problem. Now psychologist and psychiatrists all over America are giving it to their patients having them listen to it and then come back. Now they say that if you know anybody and they don't like "Bat Out Of Hell", you'd better be careful - they could snap at any moment. It's a medical fact now"

That makes all us fans depressingly sane. Disappointing isn't it!

The album came out bezillion years ago...the study must have been done that...because now in America if you ask...Do you like Steinman, the answer would be...WHO??? And if you ask, Do you like Meat, the answer would be...He is still alive???

Never been to America but everybody knows about Meat here..well everyone i talk to so i may have missed a few Britons out...and they remember Jim when reminded of the songs he's written. Bat 1 doesn't seem long ago to me...though i suppose it is....and it seems just as immediate as it ever was. People still buy thousands of copies every week don't they?

Nah, it's Cilla Black's

I've never been to a Cilla gig either. I can cope with that easier than not having made it to one of Meat Loaf's. He made an album called Bat out of Hell i believe...
