As it was my idea for the thread I'll try to help

I you need a picture stored on the web somewhere that can be accessed by either adding a picture link or a clickable link to your message. A number of things stop it working, this includes posting a link to a password protected site - i did this and it means that your computer will display the message showing the picture but anybody else accessing it will just get the red cross of doom. Try a full refresh of the page to see if its worked, you can always edit afterwards.

Thanks Luke - my ony pic on the web is a small one to my Tiscali business site, so I used that!

Would have liked to have used a larger pic, thought I could do this by scanning a picture!

Ermmmm... well you have to find a site where you can upload your picture for free. I did it at www.picit.com - and luckily it seems to be working now...

You have to upload it to a site which allows you to use the pic elsewhere in the net (in this case, our forums

). I tried uploading my pic to yahoo.com first, but that didn't work!

I am suprised it did work, as I didn't have my daughter handy to show me how to do this so I took a chance that I would be able to do it and if not then I would have my daughter come and fix my mess.

My boyfriend took the pic so I wouldn't have to pay a photographer (It was for a show my old dance troupe was doing) I'd say he did a pretty good job- he even got me to stop giggling long enought to snap it

The way it scanned in so LARGE- it's pretty much life-sized!!!
