I thought extreme dating was quite funny....nothing demanding, just a light comedy....but enoyable. A hole in one was too weird for me. The whole idea seemed strange...a movie that mixes stories about gansters, love and lobotomy cant be good lol

After having seen the movies Blacktop tries to imitate (Breakdown, The Vanishing, Duel), I second that but I also agree with RadioMaster, the motel scenes were not bad, except when the trucker started talking about his mother, that was too stereotype. There were two or three other scenes I liked but all in all the movie is not very good.
I watched it only once so far. Unfortunately, most movies with Meat Loaf are not worth a second watch, I wish he'd get better roles.

I have The Towering Inferno in my movie collection, so I don't feel the urge to watch Trapped again. There's only one great scene when Meat tells that other guy to shut up, which was the preliminary end to one of the boring dialogues.

To Catch a Yeti: What a cheap movie. God, I hated that Yeti. It looked like an ugly toy. I believe even children would not be too impressed by it. Anyway, I have to admit that I had to laugh about a few scenes, I really enjoyed how the hunter dealt with that annoying fat kid. I like Meat Loaf's beard and coat, it would have been great if it had been a western instead of a dull kid's movie.

To say something in Meat's defense, there were many great artists who embarrassed themselves in that movie.

His best recent performance was Pelts, in my opinion.

Can only say what's been said already.
It's not well known enough, and doesn't have enough of a fan base to be regarded as a "cult movie".

And at the end of the day, does it matter?

No, Roadie would not be deserving of the "cult movie" status. Honestly, it has no real following per se that continue to make it grow and thrive. It has not had the length of actual movie theater run. Heck, I have a 35mm copy of the film under my bed collecting dust.

Rocky Horror has gained "cult movie" status not because of the quality of the film, but because it has really taken on a life of its own with robust fans. What other movie still consistently sells out movie theaters on a weekly basis 33 years after inital relase. Yes, Rocky Horror does still sell that well. My show is a constant sell out, having to turn away a dozen or more people every week.

Roadie is fun, but not a "cult classic" by any means. Let is gain some television time and/or start on a midnight circut...then we shall see.
