Hey Dottie,

What the heck is an invigilator? Is it sort of like a proctor? I am a plain old librarian, but my official job title is a "school library information specialist". The kids just yell "Hey library lady", so it doesn't really matter what my title is!

Invigilators check that pupils aren't cheating all equipment must be on floor, no laughing smiling etc., also passing equipment with info written on it. We walk around the gym or where ever the exam is being held and generally oversee that correct papers are given out.

OK Dottie, now it makes sense to me. In America, we call your occupation a "proctor" for some reason. I have to proctor two or three times a year when we have standardized tests at my school. Fun!

Well, sometimes works like this....

Not much to do.....and then there is no stress at all, and I have time to check the forum, but.....

sometimes works like all hell broke loose or something and you're running and don't know were to be first or last, and offcourse then I do not have time to check in........

So you see, at the moment I do not need stress relieve....

But it's still great to talk to all of you..
And yes I am a poor sod, working on Saturday, it's 27 celcius outside and everybody is talking about being out in the sun....(yes, I do need sympathy here.....Lol)
