100 years ago... the British sat in their trenches with a barrage of shells going over towards the Germans, the promise that there will be no resistance as nothing could live through that barrage. The fear going through both sides minds. Crazy. I can't even imagine what that war was like.

Especially young people should be taught this (recent) history much more and its implications on normal life; young people many of who at the moment think the biggest threat to their lives are individuals who don't agree with them on Twitter.

top gear... monkey has been brilliant as i expected, rory has been a great surprise, i've come to enjoy matt le blanc, no idea why eddie jordan is on it, sabine would be great as a recurring occasional guest, but i haven't yet warmed to mr evans in this format. and i'd return to the star in a reasonably priced car.
