Itīs not so easy to say, which song is the favorite song. From time to time is this an other song by me.
But I think the absolutely favorite song is " For Crying out loud"

Mines "Heaven Can Wait", but... "Crying Out Loud" comes a close second. Its so hard to choose. I suppose they are my favorites because BOOH was the album I grew up with.

"Objects In The Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are" and "Couldnt Have Said it Better" are my favorite newer ones.

Sorry Guys there are just too many to just pick one. I know I broke the rules. I will stand myself in the corner for 10 mins. OK!!

Hope Everyone is having a great day.
We are having beautiful Beach weather in Esperance today.
Bye For Now

I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)- when Meat first heard Steinman play him this he must have thought deep down that this record is going to take the world by storm.

I believe the quote was along the lines of "... when Jim played that song to me, I melted." Nothing about taking the world by storm

I think, an experienced rock producer and famous singer, never assume that anything's going to take the world by storm. In my opinion, at least

I still remember that was yours. :) Such a good song!

But for me, nothing compares with Left In The Dark for both the emotional situation and solution that the singer is in. And the way in which it is produced and sang. Jim's version has it's great points as well - both are good.

(not a great fan of BS version, but what can you do )

New to the site so hello to you all before I add any treads. First the dead ringer album deserves a lot more credit than it get , this album is meat loaf best work it tells a story that Bat never did for me. I have to say Meat loaf best song is Ill Kill You if You Dont Come Back. God the second part of this song send it down my back every time

Bless all the girls in the gangs on the street
Theyre looking for danger and theyre holding their piece
Bless all the girls staying late after school
Theyre playing with fire and oh theyre playing it cool.

I'll Kill You If You Don't Come Back. I love the rawness of it, contrasting the gentleness in the middle.

Default Life is is a Bat out of the Dashboard

Like everyone I say it is very hard to choose, and between two songs i cant really choose. These are Life is a Lemon because it is so powerful and has so much feeling in it. (Doenīt everyone sometimes like it is in this song?)
And then the second part of BOOH (the my-heart-breaking-out-of-my-body-part) because if you listen to it, you just can feel the pain at the bottom of the pit, i could break down everytime i listen to it. The first part i donīt like that much. Because before i get a Meat fan, i had the 100%Rock compilation, there was BOOH, but just the first part, so i just knew this version. When I bought the Very best of, and i heard the first time thecomplete song i just thought...wow.
I wish, there whould be a song that is just like the second part of BOOH (I look forward to Bat III)

R.

PS
Please tell me, whats so good on For crying out loud? I just know the live with MSO version, post me a PM if you can tell me, why its so good.
