My views on the show:

Chris Evans and Meat Loaf seemed to get on very well and it was a very entertaining show, especially when standing there!

I don't like hot cross buns.

Meat seemed to enjoy himself and was joking around and looked pretty well, which was nice to see!

Brilliant to see old faces and new (and show off my new body and face on national television!)

My Mum phoned to tell me AFTER the show had finished but thank goodness for iPlayer. Meat did look good.

I used to work for the baker that made the best Hot Cross Buns back in the early 90's!

Not at all. I've seen Meat louder and more boisterous than last night but he wasn't bored by any stretch. During the short films he was chatting non-stop with Chris Evans, they clearly get on really well and each was genuinely interested in what the other had to say.

Thanks to everyone for such a lovely night!

You had a drink, Greg?

As Andy said on Facebook, we didn't get to speak to Meat - he did accknowledge us during one of the films but with the whole thing being live everything was pretty strict and tight. Once the show was finished they had to get the Harley out and dismantle the set so we were ushered out pretty qucikly, which is understandable from a health and safety point of view.

To be honest we were grateful just to be able to go - the original plan had been that the Meat fans would actually be involved in the show but they changed it, so they'd have been well within their rights to tell us not to bother coming at all, I thought it was a nice gesture that they let us be part of the audience anyway.

Even though we didn't get a chance to talk to Meat, I found it to be a wonderful experience to just be there in the audience of a show where he was a guest. I thought that Meat seemed quite relaxed in the interview and he was certainly entertaining.

It was lovely to meet up with some of the members from this forum, you were all so friendly and welcoming and you all played a big part in making the day so enjoyable.

I would have thought he would be staying on for the tour now rather than going back home looking for Easter eggs?

Wished they would have showed a more recent clip of Bat. Showing the 1977 version looked rather silly I thought. At least they got a clip from the new DVD in albeit without audio.

Thanks for posting guys :) that was a nice little segment, i don't like the one show usually but that was good. Meat looks fit and healthy.

Omg what about that boy with the cup stacking! I was sure it was sped up film but it wasn't! That was amazing.

Well, I didn`t expect to see folks from the forum on the show, neat! Now we know who to look for in Birmingham

Meat looked happy enough but kept rubbing his knee, guess it`s still not fully healed

I used to like Chirs Evans on Channel 4, but he just looked stupid with those trousers - I couldn`t take him at all seriously.

Got very bored with the buns bits, would have loved the whol e show to have been about Meat, after all, it is his last tour :/

Well done to MLUKFC members

On the topic of Chris Evans' trousers, don't quote me but we heard that they were in fact PJs (or at least a nod to PJs) in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity, but he couldn't say that on TV.

Will see if I can find anything on it but it does sound like something he'd do.
