I agree JR was certanly the stronger performer over the series. In fact going that "above and beyond" (as Ivanka described it) was really unnecessary .. but further proof of his absolute determination to win, which again just underlined the decision imo. Trump likes determined winners
It certainly rocks Trump's Caryl Last edited by CarylB; 24 May 2011 at 17:13. |

Well I finally got to watch it. Just want to say a big thank you to Suzie and Caryl for your great recaps over the weeks for all the shows. They both did very well. I thought it was to be judged on the final task, but it seems to have been on overall performance. John screwed up badly by not being there to greet Trump and the executives, and Trump was not impressed at all. And to mess up the time Def Leppard were to come on stage. I would have thought he would have been aware of the time they had agreed on, but he improvised and got up there and entertained everyone himself. Whereas Meat and Marlee were there and greeted everyone as they arrived. I thought Marlee's ad was better, due mainly to Meat's input, most of it was all his ideas, and they were proved wrong to drop Meat's boom box idea judging by what he said in his video the other day. I thought John's song with Marlee and the choir signing was very moving. But I still think they should have allowed Meat and the others to sing Standing In The Storm or at least given it a mention. Meat said it was scripted in but in the end got left out. I don't blame him for being upset about it. I thought Trump was very rude the way he kept interrupting Meat and cutting him off every time he tried to mention the gala he was doing. If he had just shut up and let Meat continue he would have said what he had to say in no time. And Gary and that stupid kite, he just didn't want to give up. Meat was funny going over and pretending to leave with him. I wondered too where Dione and Jose were, we know Richard is in jail. I've loved watching the show over the weeks and seeing Meat at work showing his creativity and seeing a different side of him to what we see at concerts. I thought he played with honour, class and integrity. I am very proud of you Meat, and you are a winner to me. I will miss seeing you every week on this show.
