What's awesome about someone losing his temper?

it's designed to look controversial when it could've been completely taken out of context, who knows.

The show doesn't do much for me anyway, so can't see me wanting to watch it.

besides he could've just been performing a really poor alternate version of Don't Get Me Going for Busey!*

*I'm not that big a fan of the original version before anyone asks.

Having to see Meat yell at someone on TV that way is sad, regardless of why he did it.

It all depends whether it has been taken out of context. Also it makes me wonder if they've edited the show to make Meat look like an arse.

I'm looking forward to seeing the show. It'll be really interesting to see what Busey said to get Meat so upset. I read that everyone else on the show called Meat a sweetheart I also read that Busey didn't last very long before getting fired.

That's one of the problems I have with reality TV. I don't like how people appear on such shows. The fact that the trailer obviously puts emphasis on conflicts says a lot about that show and maybe that's one of the reasons why people watch it - because arguments are more exciting and "entertaining" than if everybody was nice to each other? Seeing that kind of behavior in connection with charity is kind of absurd, in my opinion.

Looks like Meat ain't a happy bunny

I agree that a lot of what happens on this show is for the benefit of the camera though.

Maybe Busey was being the arse and Meat's reaction was justified? It's a teaser to get people to watch the show.

And Sarge is right (unfortunately, I guess)- the show would be less interesting if people were nice to each other (although, they often are, in having watched it). I remember that was a criticism of the first season of "Big Brother" (which I don't watch, and I have no idea if it's still on).

That clip was more than likely just a few seconds out of the show.

Reno Romano. Here are three more facts: 1) That cartoon wasn't as good as the previous one. 2) Holy typos Batman! 3) This post has absolutely nothing to do with the thread title.

Yeah that's right. I'm sure Meat was justified in reacting the way he did. But I am curious to see what Busey did or said to get that reaction.

so... we have a clip, out of context, of an actor, on a reality tv show, apparently losing there temper, about something which we have know idea, on a show for an american audience, where rivalry and controversy are the main goal for ratings, on a promo clip chosen by the producers?

i cant read too much into that, apart from, i've no idea who most (all the rest) of the people are

Publicity? Interesting... Didn't Meat deny that he did it for that reason?

Can't he do that without that TV show?

If I had gotten an Euro every time I read this sentence on this forum, I'd be rich by now. It's probably the most worn-out phrase on here.

I don't like what I see on that show and I don't like seeing Meat Loaf on it, especially since his participation is contradictory to what he had said about all those "celebrity..." shows before.

its one of the most popular tv shows right now, how can you see it as nothing but a good thing? millions of people are going to remember he exists.

it really does amaze me just how deep people look into every little thing Meat does or hang onto every word he says? HE IS A CELEBRITY!!!!! he will go on shows like this from time to time, he will release albums, host shows, do movies etc etc,, he has a manager who,s job is to get Meat work [ news flash ],, it is one of the most watched shows in the USA, it will do him no harm imo, it keeps him in the public eye? he shouts at somebody,, quick hit the red button, fire up the sirens!! the end is now
im not sure about the shirt Meat wore on that chat show last night, did you hear Meat say this is hes best album ever!!! Meat actually defended himself on here? why did he do that? its not a concept album,, why not? because i know more about the album, than the artist that recorded it!!!
last monday Meat said hes favourite colour was blue, today he said it was green,, i dont feel i can be a fan anymore after that? he swore to me it was blue

petty crap like that,,,,

I thought Meat cleared up the reason "why" he did "this" show. How can you believe one thing he says to a "T" then not believe him the next? And I'm not talking about the Bat 3 stuff at all. Clearly he's not yanking anyone's chains about this. He did well and we'll find out how well beginning in March. Glass half full. I think whatever money he has earned for his charity will be well received, well used and help a LOT of children.
