Hmmmm....cryptic clues!

You realise this is keeping myself and colleagues from our work today and yesterday?!!

It does look like the States. Note the sign: Merry Christmas. The rest of the world is calling it Happy Christmas.

Another clue we think is that this is a hotel.

However, apologies where they're due, my clue missed a couple of vital words to make it correctly cryptic. It should read

This buildings neighbour used to be next to the "Listening Bank"

At the time of posting we did think it was in the USA, but it wasn't, isn't and is unlikely to ever be located there, even if it is so "local".
