I still enjoy Mr. Potato Head!
Well...Mr. Potato Head is a classic...soiled underwear is a bit juvenile...moreover, that believe it or not, you have your own clear point of view...so there is no need to hide behind nonsense...

For the record...I've voted for 2005 movie for a few very simple reasons:

1. I've seen only original King Kong and this one.

2. Original was much more vivid with a clear point of view, therefore, more heartbreaking...

3. Thus...I've voted for the re-make cause it was so colorful I've never thought about bigger issues behind King Kong and, therefore, didn't feel much not before, during nor after...

As it so happens my favourite group had a song on this from the 1974 Waterloo album .

Actually that video is not the best montage the following is better and I love the still of Frida from the movie during her and Bjorn's duet Why Did It Have To Be Me ? it's the image that says; Frida Rocks ! .

Yes I ABBA and I'm not afraid to admit it .

RJ, do I detect a challenge for a song about Wario's offered bribe of soiled underwear to the song Waterloo by Abba?

Consider it DONE

My my, He made a thread and didn't put a poll there
Oh yeah, and then he tried to bribe me with his dirty underwear
The forum rule book on the shelf
says undies bribes are bad for your health

Wario - I wanted a bribe, you offered pants
Wario - hadn't been changed since Elvis' last tour
Wario - cannot escape an infraction or two
Wario - offer undies again and i'm banning you

WAR WAR WAR WAR

Wario - finally banning him, Wario

My my, I told him his that his offer was horrid and obscene
Oh yeah, and he asked would you prefer if I had them dry cleaned?
the thread was concerning King Kong
And now we're singing this song

Wario - Offering undies is not very cool
Wario - Made just for you, it's a new forum rule
Wario - this offer of yours is very strange
Wario - don't want a bribe covered in piss & shit stains

those pants of yours I will refuse
and give you lot's of verbal abuse

Wario - New underpants are not very rare
Wario - walk down to K mart and buy a new pair
Wario - if a mod's help from now on you need to enlist
Wario - try to bribe with a Meat Loaf platinum disc

WAR WAR WAR WAR

Wario - think i'll take those two tickets for Manilow

Too much time?

Only took about 5 mins.

Steinman couldn't work that fast.

Or write that well

I can make a song too. In the rythm of PIANO MAN:

It's four O clock on a Saturday, my undies are a smelly and tight.
I throw them on Neil and leave, and gave him a really bad fright.
Later he PMs me: "Yo Wario, why did you soil my face?"
"if you do this one more time I'll pummle you with a mace!"

I replied "Neil, have you eaten your waffles? Your acting a bit rash and Insane."
"Ya gotta put my undies on RJ and let him now him feel the pain."

la la la liddy la
la la liddy la la

On this thread O' Administrator
on this thread tonight!
We are all in the mood for fight you see.
Neil's in the spirit alright!

It's 3 AM on a a sunday and I'm a bit lonley and afraid.
I'm a bit tired and drowsy and my underware has been spayed.
Then a PM from Neil awakens me, as I eat a fresh pack of cheese.
He says "I'm getting a plane to Pennsylvania and I'm going to brake your knees"

I replied "I've locked my door tonight so you can't get into my house!"
Then he said onto me with a really weird wink that he was a literal Flying Mouse.

la la la liddy la
la la liddy la la

Neil's in the spirit alright!

Now my undies smell like a carnival and my mouth smells like a beer
Now find myself in england and Neil screams "WHAT THE F**** ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

la la la liddy la

Neil's in the spirit alright!

I soon found a barstool and started to harrase Neil.
He tied me up with stoch tape and fed me mouse shit as my last meal.
The cops later found my body all decayed and dead
When they went to examine my body, they couldn't find my head

Now my head hangs up in Neails pub, all deacayed and skinned.
If neil hates soiled underwear, its a wonder why this wasn't binned.

Neil's DEFENATLY in the spirit alright!

All in good fun neil. I personally don't care, loved the song!

like all Peter Jackson movies, waaaaaaaaaay too long. It had potential, would have been a good film if they cut it down to something around 100 mins.

It would have never been a good movie...they concentrated so much on making it "pretty" and showcasing the actors that they forgot completely what the movie was all about...

embarrassed to say I've never seen another King Kong movie, but the little boy in me likes monster films like Jurassic Park or Godzilla or Alien, so this movie had quite a few good scenes for me.

Well...if you look at it this way...but do take a time to watch the original...I don't think it was altogether about the monsters...

It was a love story basically. First like 50 minutes is them going to the Island and the last 50 mins is a classic monster flick. The reason its so great is that it doesn't try to be all gory and distructive. there's heart in the original.

The 1976 version sucked and PJ's version was excellent but neither could stand tail to 1933's.

More than that...it was (I think - not researched at all) one of the first times the man was told not to mess with nature...and you hit the nail on the head...there was a heart in the original...
