Sometimes it's tough being handicapped. My wheelchair needs repairs. So I have to use my other one which is a piece of shit.

If you are in Liverpool I can take a look at it for you lol.

Is it unreasonable to think my husband and I should be able to decide if the stepson's girlfriend should get a key to my house? Especially since he's moved her in without consulting us either?

I do believe there is a good chance i'd kill the pair of them and dispose of the bodies at the local landfill site/swamp/shark infested swimming pool (delete to suit your local amenities).
It's totally out of order to move her in wiothout permission from you and your husband, never mind consulting you to the possibility.

How long have they been going out together?
Have you spoken to her parents at all to get their take on the situation?

They've been going out for about 3 or 4 months, and no, we haven't been introduced. The problem is that the step-daughter did much the same thing, although she didn't give hers a key, we did that two years down the line. They're now living together in a house of their own, with their daughter.
